A painting here, some stone axes there and the odd carved trinket in the belly of a saber-toothed tiger–those were the traces that our ancestors left as proof of ownership. All these for almost half of human history, moving with the most basic modes of transport, bringing their food supplies to their respective areas.
From 30,000 BC to 15,000 BC over the years, our ancestors slowly turned their backs from the hunter-gatherer lifestyle. These hunter-gatherer societies could still be found in some areas of the world. It’s amazing however to see what happened through the years–a transition toward the agrarian society, a transition which brought about the birth of home ownership.
